🥳 CONGRATULATIONS TO DIANNE! 🥳

🎶 Our final student of the month winner for the year 2024 🎶

Dianne, pictured with her teacher Steve and academy owner Oli during our Christmas Jumper Week, recently smashed her Rockschool Grade 5 Ukulele exam, passing with flying colours! This is particularly impressive considering it was her first-ever music exam, and she’s only been playing the ukulele for a few years. She overcame her nerves and achieved her 2024 goal, which she set back in January—finishing the year ahead of schedule!

On top of that, Dianne is going above and beyond by arranging and recording a ukulele version of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals as a heartfelt Christmas surprise for her father.

But she’s not stopping there! Dianne is gearing up to learn guitar next, with an acoustic already in hand and a few chords under her belt. She’s diving into yet another musical adventure with enthusiasm and determination.

The certificate is upside down, but the achievement is a 100% thumbs up! 👍🏻 😎 Over the past month of lessons, Trinity has made impressive progress, mastering power chords and applying them to learn sections of several songs. This achievement marks a significant milestone in her musical journey and paves the way for even greater growth as she continues to develop as a guitarist.

Trinity has had some difficult times as of late. However, at ODM, she has found a supportive and motivating environment where she works hard and truly enjoys her lessons with her teacher, Sam. Sam has built a strong connection with Trinity, and together they’ve made tremendous progress.
