Academy Terms & Conditions

ODM Academy Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing ODM Academy for your music tuition. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they ensure fair wages for our teachers and the continued upkeep of ODM Academy.

Payment

Lessons must be paid monthly in advance via subscription on our website, due on the 1st of each month. Sign Up Here Sign Up to Academy Lessons – Oliver Docksey Music Late payments (5+ working days overdue) will incur a £20 late fee, unless otherwise agreed with ODM.

Lesson prices:

Monthly subscription rates:

£64 per month for 30-minute lessons / £128 per month for 1-hour lessons.

Fees cover 48 weeks of tuition per year, with scheduled breaks, that you’ve NOT been charged for:

1 week at Easter (always covering Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday)
1 week in August (first full week)
2 weeks at Christmas ( exact dates will be provided in advance).

Cancellations & Holidays

Lesson fees secure your time slot; absences are still chargeable. If a cover teacher is provided and you choose not to attend, the lesson is forfeited.

For planned absences, 1 month’s written notice is required. Without notice, the full lesson fee will be charged. Holidays or cancellations exceeding 2 consecutive weeks will incur a 50% holding fee to secure your lesson slot.

Discontinuation of Lessons

4 paid lessons’ notice is required to discontinue tuition, regardless of attendance or cancellations. Written notice must be provided via email to office@odmhq.co.uk.

Dear Parent/Guardian

Thank you for choosing ODM’s tuition services. Please read through the below terms and conditions very carefully.

Please keep in mind that these Terms and Conditions are designed to provide sustainability for all our teachers wages as well as the cost and upkeep of ODM. Thank you for your understanding.

Service provision

ODM will provide tuition for your child within the school day on their chosen instrument.

Tuition runs for 36 weeks throughout the school year. This is based on 6 weeks of tuition for each half term.

Fees and Terms of Payment

All lessons are to be paid up front by a monthly subscription via our website on the 1st of each month. This is paid every month throughout the year to spread the cost of tuition equally. Please use this link to subscribe now – School Tuition – Oliver Docksey Music (odmhq.co.uk) Late payment of 5 working days or more will incur a £20 late payment fee. Should no payment or contact be received within 14 days of your subscription being due, ODM reserves the right to withdraw our tuition service and pursue the debt to be collected.

Cancellation policy – All lessons must be paid for to maintain your slot, all absences will still be charged.

Discontinuation – Should you wish to discontinue lessons, a full paid half terms notice must be given, regardless of attendance.

Please keep in mind that these Terms and Conditions are designed to provide sustainability for all our teachers wages as well as the cost and upkeep of ODM. Thank you for your understanding.

Service provision

ODM will provide tuition for your child within the school day on their chosen instrument.

Tuition runs weekly for 30 weeks throughout the school year and runs in accordance with Edenhursts school term dates.

Fees and Terms of Payment

All lessons are to be paid up front by a monthly subscription via our website on the 1st of each month. This is paid every month throughout the year to spread the cost of tuition equally. Band Rehearsal & Room Hire Terms and Conditions

Band Rehearsal & Room Hire Terms and Conditions

By booking Studio 1 at ODM Academy, you agree to the following terms:

For Band Rehearsal’s, full payment is required either by cash on the day of the booking, or by card via the website upon booking your session.
For Room Hire, full payment is required by card via our website at the point of booking.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes to bookings. Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring all attendees behave respectfully and safely whilst on the premises.
Any damage caused to the studio, equipment, fixtures or furnishings during the hire period may be charged to the hirer.
All equipment provided must be used responsibly and left in the same condition it was found.
The studio must be vacated promptly at the end of the booked session to avoid affecting subsequent bookings.
ODM Academy reserves the right to refuse or terminate a booking if behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or likely to cause damage to the premises or equipment.
Parking is not permitted on the Academy driveway. Please use nearby public parking facilities as outlined in your booking confirmation.
ODM Academy accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

ODM Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
