Academy FAQs

We offer two lesson options. A half an hour lesson and an hour lesson.

We ask all students to attend their chosen lesson slot at the same time each week for 48 weeks throughout the year, including bank holidays. Our Academy closes over Easter for one week, the first week of August for one week and two weeks over the Christmas break. You will be notified of these exact holiday dates in advance.

If you receive a half an hour lesson your monthly payment is £60. If you receive an hour lesson your monthly payment is £120. These are to be paid on the 1st of the month.

We are located at the bottom of Hill Street in Stoke, ST4 1NL, in between Hill Street chip shop and the Coral.

If you have your own Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drum sticks, Saxophone, Clarinet or Ukulele you are more than welcome to bring it with you during your lessons along with any literature or reading material. However, all of our studio’s are equipped with everything you need for your lesson and instruments are available to borrow whilst you learn.

As per our terms and conditions, we require a minimum of one month’s notice for all cancellations. Any cancellation inside this notice period will be charged at the full rate.

Yes, all lessons must be paid for to maintain your slot and ensure our teachers wages.

Lessons take place during school time inside the practise rooms in or around your child’s school’s music department.

Lessons take place during the school day once a week during the schools term time. 36 weeks throughout the year for public schools and 30 weeks throughout the year for private schools.

Lesson prices are dependent on the lesson option you’ve chosen and are to be paid upfront via a monthly subscription on the 1st of each month. Please see your child’s school page to confirm the price of your chosen lesson option.

Yes, all lessons are to be paid to maintain your child’s slot and to ensure our teachers wage.

Yes if they own their own Guitar, Bass Guitar, Saxophone, Clarinet or Ukulele please encourage them to bring it to their lessons. However, all practise rooms have instruments available for student use.
