🥳 CONGRATULATIONS TO VINCENT DOCKSEY! 🥳

🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for August 🎶

Vincent, pictured with his piano teacher Samantha and owner Oli, has progressed at a lightning-fast rate during the past month, having learned two out of three of his ABRSM Grade 1 piano pieces seemingly effortlessly over a matter of weeks. He can now play "Minuet in C" by Reinagle fluently and hands together (a skill he initially struggled with) and is doing well at using dynamic variation, phrasing, and articulation. Vinnie has also almost finished working on "The Quiet Wood" and is showing great aptitude for playing by ear, as well as reading note values and difficult rhythms—having recently discovered he is exceptionally good at playing to a metronome! Alongside his grade work, Vinnie enjoys composing and playing listening games during our lessons. He always has a smile on his face and is an absolute joy to teach!

Vincent was so surprised and ecstatic that he`d won and couldn`t thank us enough 🥰. What a polite, charming young man and a keen musician. Congratulations, Vincent—keep being awesome! 🙌🏻😊

🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for July! 🎶

Here is your winner, Leo, pictured with his very proud teacher, Steve, (right). Leo has recently passed his Grade 2 Rockschool Guitar, which is the first exam he`s ever attempted. He managed to pass with flying colours, earning a merit on the day, which reflects his hard work and determination to play guitar. Not only did he achieve a high grade, but he also did it on a guitar that wasn`t his own due to technical difficulties that occurred on the day! Very cool, calm, and collected! 😎

Outside of his lessons, Leo has also recently performed at his high school`s end of year concert, playing the guitar to Vance Joy`s `Riptide`. He played a solo section of guitar for this as well as in a full band, showing such great musicianship for a young student. Keep up the hard work, Leo. It`s clearly paying off. Awesome stuff! 🎸🙌🏻

🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for June! 🎶

Wilson is one of our newer students having recently started lessons with his piano teacher, Samantha in the past few months. Wilson has really taken to the piano within such a short time, inspired by his favourite band Bon Jovi and coming from a musical family, he`s wanting to learn all of their songs and more! His attendance is second to none and he is always so eager in his lessons. He is already beginning to look at note reading and has a keen ear for different rhythms and time signatures. He has mastered note values and dynamics, and is progressing well with his music theory knowledge as well as his confidence in performing new pieces he`s approached in his lessons. At such a young age, Samantha is amazed at how attentive he is, and is very impressed with the considerable effort he puts in each week, all with a lovely smile 😊

🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for August 🎶

Vincent, pictured with his piano teacher Samantha and owner Oli, has progressed at a lightning-fast rate during the past month, having learned two out of three of his ABRSM Grade 1 piano pieces seemingly effortlessly over a matter of weeks. He can now play "Minuet in C" by Reinagle fluently and hands together (a skill he initially struggled with) and is doing well at using dynamic variation, phrasing, and articulation. Vinnie has also almost finished working on "The Quiet Wood" and is showing great aptitude for playing by ear, as well as reading note values and difficult rhythms—having recently discovered he is exceptionally good at playing to a metronome! Alongside his grade work, Vinnie enjoys composing and playing listening games during our lessons. He always has a smile on his face and is an absolute joy to teach!

Vincent was so surprised and ecstatic that he`d won and couldn`t thank us enough 🥰. What a polite, charming young man and a keen musician. Congratulations, Vincent—keep being awesome! 🙌🏻😊

Here is your winner, Leo, pictured with his very proud teacher, Steve, (right). Leo has recently passed his Grade 2 Rockschool Guitar, which is the first exam he`s ever attempted. He managed to pass with flying colours, earning a merit on the day, which reflects his hard work and determination to play guitar. Not only did he achieve a high grade, but he also did it on a guitar that wasn`t his own due to technical difficulties that occurred on the day! Very cool, calm, and collected! 😎

Outside of his lessons, Leo has also recently performed at his high school`s end of year concert, playing the guitar to Vance Joy`s `Riptide`. He played a solo section of guitar for this as well as in a full band, showing such great musicianship for a young student. Keep up the hard work, Leo. It`s clearly paying off. Awesome stuff! 🎸🙌🏻

Sasha was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at a very young age. She loves the drums and has always wanted to learn how to play them. Now, after months of lessons with her teacher Oli, lots of practice, tons of patience, and hard work, Sasha finally got a taste of what it`s like being the heartbeat of the band, playing along with Oli on the bass guitar to the @muse hit `Hysteria` and doing a grand job at it too! ☺️

What an inspiration you are, Sasha. Your smile is infectious, and your determination is the true definition of resilience. 🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for June! 🎶

Wilson is one of our newer students having recently started lessons with his piano teacher, Samantha in the past few months. Wilson has really taken to the piano within such a short time, inspired by his favourite band Bon Jovi and coming from a musical family, he`s wanting to learn all of their songs and more! His attendance is second to none and he is always so eager in his lessons. He is already beginning to look at note reading and has a keen ear for different rhythms and time signatures. He has mastered note values and dynamics, and is progressing well with his music theory knowledge as well as his confidence in performing new pieces he`s approached in his lessons. At such a young age, Samantha is amazed at how attentive he is, and is very impressed with the considerable effort he puts in each week, all with a lovely smile 😊

Well done Wilson, keep up the great work and love for the Piano! 🎹💙
