We`d like to take a moment to extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Lexi, one of Joe`s students (pictured left), alongside our proud owner, Oli. Lexi is shown holding her Grade 6 @rslawards Rockschool drum exam certificate, smiling and proud after passing with merit just a couple of months ago. Along with this fantastic achievement, Lexi has recently passed her UAL Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production with distinction! She is now heading to BIMM in Manchester to continue her studies in Music Performance and Event Management.

Joe, Oli, and her mum, Victoria, couldn`t be prouder of her. Lexi has thoroughly enjoyed her time learning with Joe, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s some lovely feedback from Lexi and her mum:

🎶 Our Student of the Month Winner for August 🎶

Vincent, pictured with his piano teacher Samantha and owner Oli, has progressed at a lightning-fast rate during the past month, having learned two out of three of his ABRSM Grade 1 piano pieces seemingly effortlessly over a matter of weeks. He can now play "Minuet in C" by Reinagle fluently and hands together (a skill he initially struggled with) and is doing well at using dynamic variation, phrasing, and articulation. Vinnie has also almost finished working on "The Quiet Wood" and is showing great aptitude for playing by ear, as well as reading note values and difficult rhythms—having recently discovered he is exceptionally good at playing to a metronome! Alongside his grade work, Vinnie enjoys composing and playing listening games during our lessons. He always has a smile on his face and is an absolute joy to teach!

Vincent was so surprised and ecstatic that he`d won and couldn`t thank us enough 🥰. What a polite, charming young man and a keen musician. Congratulations, Vincent—keep being awesome! 🙌🏻😊
